About

Giving a voice to rivers and crossing the views of scientists and professionals with those of artists and populations living close to rivers: that is the aim of Living with Rivers, an international action launched by Initiatives for the Future of Great Rivers (IFGR) that federates a very large number of partners. By understanding our many links with rivers, we want everyone to participate in their preservation for a sustainable future shared by all.

For this first edition, the River Rhone invites the Rivers Saint Lawrence and Senegal to begin a dialogue. And from the banks of these three rivers, everyone can recount what their river means to them.

Listen to the voices of rivers and act to also make your own voice heard. Converse with the people of three continents via #livingwithrivers.  Meet them on 27 October 2022 at the Musée des Confluences, in Lyon (France) and participate, on social networks, to celebrate rivers all together.
